Rules for the game
1. The Islanders have 82 games this season. The day before each game a thread will be posted here by one of the moderators showing you the Islanders latest opponent.
2. Along with the team listing you will also find a list of possible candidates who may be involved in a fight that night.
3. What you do is choose not only a player, but a possible matchup for that particular night. For example:
9-28-05 Islanders vs Rangers this will be listed in the subject heading.
Islanders: Eric Godard, Arron Asham, Garth Snow, Brad Lukowich
Rangers: Dale Purinton, Jason Strudwick, Darius Kasparaitis, Jaime Lundmark, Garth Murray, Martin Grenier
4. You must select 1 [and only one] player from each team that you think will end up in a fight against each other.
5. Post your matchup in hte corresponding thread.
6. Scoring points for fights is the name of the game. Scoring is as follows:
a] If your Islander player gets into a fight you recieve
2 points.
b] If you choose a correct matchup, meaning the 2 players you chose fought each other you recieve 5 points.
c] If you choose a goalie and he gets into a fight you get 7 points
d] If you choose the correct matchup that includes a goalie you recieve 10 points
e] You may score points for multiple fights.
f] To score points, a player must be given a fighting major. Roughing and double roughing will not count.
g] You do not recieve points if the opposing player you selecetd gets into a fight. Only if he gets into a fight with your selected Islander player. This is the ISLANDER ENFORCER Game not the NHL Enforcer Game
7. Moderators will update points standings after every game.
8. These rules can be changed to make the game better at any time. Of course there will be an announcemnet if this happens. Any questions, feel free to ask. Have fun!
