The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders, have assigned right wing Luch Aquino to East Cost Hockey League affiliate Pensacola. Aquino has two goals and an assist for three points, along with six penalty minutes in 13 games with the Sound Tigers this season.
The 21-year-old Aquino was drafted in the seventh round, 210th overall by the Islanders in the 2005 National Hockey League Entry Draft. In his career, Aquino has played in 22 AHL games, including nine with the Sound Tigers in 2005-06. Aquino is a 5-foot-10, 200-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario.
Side note: Brandon Nolan [yes it's Teddy's son] made his debut with the Soundtigers tonight. Plyed on a line with Nokie. Plyed for Columbia of the ECHL this season.

www.connpost.com/soundtigers/ci_4828553ON THE OUTS — Forward Luciano Aquino has been suspended by Pensacola, Bridgeport's ECHL Affiliate. He may wind up playing in Europe. ********************************************************************************************************* It doesn't say why he was suspended, maybe he was pissed he was sent down and acted like an ass?

Dubie hasn't played for a while now. It's been Thompson and Mole. Any idea why?
