SOUND TIGERS FINALIZE ROSTER

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders, have finalized their roster for opening night - Sunday, Oct. 8 at Binghamton. The Sound Tigers will begin the season with two goaltenders, led by returnee Wade Dubielewicz, eight defensemen and 13 forwards. The roster is as follows:

Well, looks like Brent Henley didn't make it but Jason Goulet and Drew Fata did so it should be a pretty good season fight wise. hopefully they can be good enough to make the playoffs again this season. With a new coaching staff and a number of new players, it's pretty much a whole new team so i guess we'll soon see.

Any word where Henley will go. I believ he is propertyu of the Phoenix Roadrunners but Im not sure. Also Joe Grimaldi got into his first fight of the season last night. He plays for Ottawa in the OHL.

I tried to find out but I haven't seen anything yet. I'll keep checking the Roadrunners website to see if he finds his way back on the roster, if not, It's only a matter of time before he fights for whatever team he winds up on and his name will pop up on dropyourgloves.com


Edit: btw: Who is Frederic Cloutier playing for? I remember reading someplace he was in training camp with the Manitoba Moose but didn't make it. Any idea where he ended up?

Not sure but i know hes no longer property of the Islanders. As is Rob Collins. Wonder where he ended up.
