SOUND TIGERS ANNOUNCE SEVEN ROSTER MOVES Three head to NHL, one comes from big club & three up from ECHL
BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced seven transactions. Forwards Kevin Colley and Wyatt Smith and defenseman Bruno Gervais have been recalled by the Islanders while center Robert Nilsson has been reassigned to the Sound Tigers by the big club. The Sound Tigers have also recalled forwards Mark Lee and Chris Thompson from the ECHL's Trenton Titans and goaltender Frederic Cloutier from the ECHL's Pensacola Ice Pilots. The Sound Tigers will begin a three-game homestand when they host the Philadelphia Phantoms tonight at 7:05 p.m. on "Heroes Night" and "Westport Town Night". The Sound Tigers will also host the Hartford Wolf Pack tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. on "Trivia Night" and "Stratford Town Night" and the Hershey Bears this coming Wednesday, December 7th at 11 a.m. in the third-annual, educationally-themed "Cool Fun 101" morning game.
