The Bridgeport Sound Tigers today announced the signing of C Mark Lee.
Lee, who turns 21 this month, posted 20 goals, 47 assists, 67 points and 65 penalty minutes in 78 games with the United Hockey League’s Kansas City Outlaws last season. The 5’10’’ 181-pounder from Mount Pearl, Newfoundland earned UHL Player of the Week honors early last April and was Kansas City’s Rookie of the Year. He spent the previous season (2003-04) with the Prince Edward Island Rocket of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
