www.newyorkislanders.com/pressbox/archive.asp?id=1209TRENT HUNTER OUT 2-4 WEEKSJeremy Colliton RecalledIslanders forward Trent Hunter will be out of action from 2-4 weeks with a sprained knee suffered in the final minutes of the Islanders' 7-4 win over the Rangers on Sunday at Madison Square Garden. Hunter, a Calder Trophy Finalist in 2003-04, has four goals and two assists for six points in 26 games this season and is averaging 14:56 icetime per game. The Islanders have recalled forward Jeremy Colliton from Bridgeport of the American Hockey League. Colliton has scored in four straight games with the Sound Tigers, including the game-winner in overtime at Lowell on Saturday. He has five goals and five assists for 10 points in 22 games with the Sound Tigers this year. Last season, Colliton had a goal and an assist in 19 games with the Islanders while registering 21 goals and 32 assists for 53 points in 66 games with the Sound Tigers. Colliton, 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, was born in Blackie, Alberta. The 21-year-old was selected by the Islanders in the second round, 58th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. After today's morning skate, Islanders coach Ted Nolan talked about how he likes to "promote from within." So for tonight's game at Nassau Coliseum against the surging Ottawa Senators, expect Colliton to play on the fourth line and Richard Park to move up.

Yah the injury bug is on us. Park took a nasty puck to the head that could have been deadly.
